Me
Howdy!
My name is Brett Boren and I am a senior, finance major at Texas A&M (A-WHOOP!).
Even though I am a senior, I am not due to graduate until December of 2015. I grew up in Houston, Texas, where I went to St. Thomas High School, a private, all boys school. Those were some of the best four years of my life. I enjoy playing sports, primarily rugby, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
I am creating this blog for my Real Estate Decision Making Class, Finc 371. I hope to learn a lot of real estate principals because, frankly, I don't know too much about real estate. With the foundation I gain in this class I should be able to make sound real estate decisions later in life.
After I graduate from Texas A&M, I hope to get a job as an analyst at an investment bank, preferably in Houston.
Some unique things about me are that: I played rugby in high school (not too many high schools have rugby programs), I am a fifth-generation Houstonian (with no intention of leaving), and I went to the same high school as my dad, uncles, and grandfather.
I have a huge bucket list, but a few of the items on it are way more urgent than others. These include: backpacking around Europe for a few months, living in New York City for a couple of years, learning how to surf, and beating my dad in a round of golf.
Thanks for reading guys!
